Case Study: Carry on Glamping with Jonny Vegas at Melbourne Hall

Jonny Vegas, a renowned entertainer and advocate for sustainable tourism, envisioned transforming a portion of agricultural land within Melbourne Hall in Derbyshire into a glamping site.

The concept offered a unique and memorable experience for visitors, but also provided an opportunity for diversification, and to promote the beautiful setting of Melbourne Hall.

Feasibility Study: Before submitting the planning application, TUK Rural Ltd worked with Jonny Vegas and his team to conducted a comprehensive feasibility study to assess the potential impact of the project. This study evaluated factors such as land suitability, environmental considerations infrastructure requirements and Planning Policy.

2. Detailed Proposal: The planning application provides design plans, environmental impact, historic impact and economic benefits, heritage preservation, and economic stimulation.

3. Environmental Considerations: To address any potential environmental concerns, the proposal incorporated measures to minimise ecological impact. This includes management plans, and the preservation of existing flora and fauna.
